When will the ETIAS Visa be available?

Authorities have come to the conclusion that ETIAS will be optional for about six months after it becomes operationable. Regarding that the EU commission spokesperson, Katarzyna Kolankoo has said that ETIAS will become fully operational very soon.

You will only need 1 document to apply for ETIAS, and that is your passport.

In itself the passport already includes a picture of you, the part under the picture that is readable by a passport reading machine and the electronic passport chip which can be found in the cover page of your passport at the bottom (this one is not necessary).

Which countries in EU does The ETIAS include?

The countries are the same 26 members that make up the Schengen Zone. Travelers to these countries will benefit from the ETIAS for Europe which grants them authorization to visit these countries.
