How much do you have to pay for the ETIAS authorization?

ETIAS is relatively easy and cheap to get. Individuals under 18 years will not have to pay any fees, whereas adults over 18 years old will have to pay an amount of 7 Euros for each application.

The ETIAS authorization will make it easier to increase security in the European countries, reduce application procedures, improve the management of the European borders and decrease crime and terrorism.

What is the difference between an ETIAS and Schengen Visa?

Even though the ETIAS is not yet being used, travelers are concerned whether they will need and ETIAS or Schengen visa. ETIAS is an electronic travel authorization and applies only to people who can already travel to Europe without a visa. On the other hand, the Schengen Visa is required for travel to Europe for those who are unable to travel to EU countries without a visa.
